The Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program is a cultural exchange program funded by the U.S. Department of State for the 2027-2028 academic year.
The program is nine months long and offers opportunities to teach Arabic in American universities while gaining academic and cultural experiences.
Participants can take university courses and engage in cultural and educational activities without earning an academic degree.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be Saudi nationals.
Applicants should be early-career Arabic or English language teachers.
Teaching experience should not exceed 7 years.
Some specialists in American studies, media, or English/American literature may also apply.
Applicants must be fully available to reside in the U.S. for the program duration.
English proficiency is required and subject to evaluation.
Applicants should be professional, reliable, and eager to teach Arabic language and Saudi culture.
Preferably no or limited prior U.S. experience.
