Job Purpose

• Implement and teach Middle School students according to the International Baccalaureate curriculum.
• Provide professional expertise and high-quality teaching and learning.
• Lead and facilitate diverse and effective learning experiences in a supportive and positive climate.
• Deliver a coherent, balanced, integrated, inquiry-based program preparing students for international programs.
• Collaborate with other teachers to contribute to student success.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, initiate, support, and guide units involving IB resources and knowledge.
• Create learning experiences including field work and engaging activities.
• Motivate students using differentiated instructions and varied teaching styles.
• Contribute to enriching learning engagements and monitor student performance.
• Conduct effective assessments and maintain records of student progress.
• Communicate regularly and constructively with students.
• Use engaging teaching methods to stimulate intellectual curiosity.
• Set high expectations for student behavior and manage classroom discipline effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues and teach a full-time teaching load per MOE guidelines.
• Adapt to online or hybrid teaching environments as needed.
• Design, prepare, and deliver high-quality IB curriculum tailored to individual student needs.
• Build meaningful relationships with students providing individual attention.
• Maintain records of students’ work and progress through Learning Management Systems.
• Work both independently and collaboratively as a team member.
