Job Overview

• Teach the Arabic language within the International Baccalaureate diploma program for grades 11 and 12.
• Deliver high quality education using diverse teaching methods in a positive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, plan, and organize knowledge- and understanding-based units following IB curriculum guidelines.
• Develop and deliver full curriculum and units meeting IB and school requirements.
• Stay updated with curriculum changes and IB evaluation standards.
• Create interactive and challenging learning experiences for all students.
• Support differentiated learning and employ varied teaching approaches to enhance student performance.
• Regularly monitor and assess student progress and provide effective feedback.
• Establish high behavioral standards and maintain classroom discipline positively.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student learning and contribute to school activities.
• Engage with parents and the community following school policy.
• Participate in IB accredited workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay current.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong knowledge of Arabic language and experience with the International Baccalaureate program.
• Effective classroom management and student engagement skills.
• Ability to design and adapt curriculum according to diverse student needs.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Proficient in both face-to-face and remote/blended teaching methodologies.
