Job Description

  • Provide safe, high-quality patient and family-centered care, handling clerical, reception, translation, and other activities to support patient care while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Achieve nursing affairs’ strategic goals successfully.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries and provide appropriate guidance to patients, families, and visitors while treating colleagues, patients, and visitors with dignity and respect.
  • Promote and maintain effective communication and teamwork.
  • Follow telephone etiquette and seek assistance when needed.
  • Translate from Arabic to English for patients, families, and healthcare team, conveying information and orders accurately, and participate in patient education programs as requested.
  • Prepare and maintain all patient records.
  • Enter and extract data from computer systems such as ICIS and Oracle.
  • Contribute to staff retention goals and participate in employee support activities.
  • Maintain professional standards and act appropriately in a multicultural environment, adhering to the code of conduct.
  • Welcome new staff and students in assigned areas and engage in employee support activities.
  • Promote a safe patient care environment through safety culture, hazard identification, and reporting.
  • Uphold personal safety, patient safety, and infection prevention policies.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, safety/security issues, and supply shortages to supervisors.
  • Participate in staff orientation programs, mentoring, and training new employees to develop skills.
  • Support cost-saving efforts, resource awareness, and cautious supply requests in assigned areas.
